Had the day off on Monday so decided to take a walk through the village and take a few photos. Although the road was quite safe to drive on, it was still very slushy. The snow on the roadside banks was quite deep in places as I found out when I had to leave the road to make way for passing cars. Would you believe that the only two cars I saw came along at the same time from different directions!! I saw lots of people out and about. People walking dogs, neighbours chatting, several people busy clearing snow from their drives. Not sure what is happening with the road closure. The signs are still up but no sign of any work being carried out, not sure how long the road will be closed for now.
There is no doubt about it, even though the snow had started to thaw a little, and the road looked a little mucky it did make the village look even prettier than it already is.
And finally, I was joined on my walk by one very brave lone jogger. Well done to her!!
